Network Services
As a Curtin Staff member, you have access to various network services which allow you to access Curtin information from your home or from your personal laptop computer.
- Remote Access (VPN Client) allows you to be connected directly to the Curtin network from your personal computer at home simply by installing some software. A VPN does not require you to install another phone line, ADSL connection or anything like that, instead it is created by a piece of software that you install on your computer which knows how to communicate with the Curtin network and transparently creates the VPN link for you.
- Wireless Network enables students and staff to access Curtin ICT resources from mobile computing devices such as laptops.
